Allyn Taylor

Allyn and John Taylor have been living on campus, first on Pine Hill Road and now on Gerona Road, since 1984. They have raised two children here, each of whom attended local public schools. John is a professor in the Economics Dept. as well as a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution. Allyn is a retired IP attorney who formerly practiced at DLA Piper. In addition to her legal career, Allyn is an enthusiastic tennis player and active member at SCRA. Allyn hopes to use her legal training to benefit SCRL in its dealings with both Stanford and Santa Clara County. Her primary interest is in land use, as affected by Stanford and the County and capital improvements to the SCRL community. Finally, she hopes to further expand her ties in the community via the various SCRL activities.
